Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
The theme of this year’s advent devotional is “NEW.” As we prepare our hearts and minds for the coming of Christ, as we prepare to celebrate his birth, may we look for a new thing to come into our lives.
Once again I thank all those who contributed to this year’s Advent devotional. Their time and energy put forth is a blessing to us all. I thank all of our contributors who signed up on their time and ability sheets. In fact, I had so many responses this year that I didn’t get to use everyone. If you would like to help on next year’s Advent devotional, and did not already check it off on your Time & Abilities sheet, please call the office and let us know.
I pray that you will come up with some “NEW” ways to celebrate this Advent season. Consider serving at the food pantry, helping with Overtime, serving or cooking for a shelter meal, helping with Family Promise. Let us see the new opportunities Christ places in our pathways.
Pastor Drahus and I keep you in our prayers throughout Advent. We ask that you do the same for us and our families. May God bless you always in all ways this Advent season.
