Words of Institution
P) In the night in which he was betrayed our Lord Jesus took bread, and gave thanks; broke
it, and gave it to his disciples, saying: Take and eat; this is my body, given for you. Do this for the remembrance of me.
Again, after supper, he took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it for all to drink, saying: This cup is the new covenant in my blood, shed for you and for all people for the forgiveness of sin. Do this for the remembrance of me.
Lord’s Prayer
P) Let us pray with confidence in the words our Savior gave us:
C) Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in
heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us
our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against
us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from
evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the
glory, forever and ever. Amen

Contemporary worship gives us flexibility to do things a little bit differently; for example, we can use different sermon topics to preach and to teach God’s word. We will tackle and contemplate different issues we deal and struggle with daily and together we’ll try to find the answers, the wisdom and the guidance God’s word provides for us.
The Sermon Series is called: “God’s Answer to Our Daily Struggles.” The sermon theme of February contemporary worship is WEAKNESS. Come join us and find out how God wants to help you to deal with your daily struggles.
The Sign-Up Sheet to help lead Contemporary Worship service will be circulated at the fellowship time. We welcome you to share your talents.
Thanks to all who actively participated in the preparation of the service.
