Family Promise
This program is a program of outreach to homeless families in Berks County. Our church serves as a host site, having families stay here four different weeks during the year. Our members make dinners, help pack lunches, make breakfasts, serve as mentors, and overnight hosts. While being hosted, the families meet with a social worker to help them find jobs and housing. The program is working extremely well in helping families get back on their feet.
