Wonderful, Outrageous, World of Trinity's Youth Group!!!
Trinity's main youth group is for 7th thru 12th graders and meets on Sunday evenings.
Trinity has youth from many school districts and while it may be tough if you don't go to Conrad Weiser, by staying involved, going on retreats, coming to youth events, you will feel welcome and build strong friendships. But the key is to stay active. It gets tough with school activities, jobs, etc. but the more the youth come to events, the more welcome they will feel.
Some typical youth activities have been the church softball league, Bike Hikes, CROP walk, Coffee Houses with Captive Free, our annual White Elephant Christmas party and Caroling night, Bon Fires and Hayrides, Flashlight tag at the church, ice skating, swimming, Lenten Fasts or Feasts and of course Bible Study Discussions!!
Our retreats include the Harrisburg Youth Quake for the
6th-8th graders in January, our annual Pocono Retreat on Memorial Day weekend for 6th-12th graders, Gretna Glen Fall Retreat for 7th-8th grades and the ELCA's Triennial National Youth Gathering which is coming up in New Orleans, LA in 2009!
How can you get involved? Youth can watch the WOW page in the church newsletter, the Youth Bulletin Board in the church lobby or just weekly check out our Youth Web Site. Through all of these you’ll be able to find out what is going on and attend the events, retreats and Bible Studies!
