The mission of Trinity Lutheran Church's Women’s Ministry is to mobilize women to act as the hands of Christ: to provide ministry, compassion, fellowship and friendship, in service to our God.

We welcome all women to participate with us in this exciting new ministry at Trinity! Last April, twenty-two women met for a fantastic, spirit-led retreat. As time passed, the desire to build opportunities for women to come together in service to Christ and to support each other in day to day life has grown. So, this October 31st we’re celebrating the Reformation in style with a Women’s Breakfast (cooked up for us by the fabulous men of Trinity!) Open to all women at no cost. A free-will offering will be accepted. As we gather, we will be able to visit, catch up, and relax. After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a good devotion and hear from several women about new ministry opportunities. Some of these ideas include:
Compassion in Action—a ministry offering meals and encouragement to new mothers and home-bound friends.
Busy Hands—a network of women who know needlework of all kinds, and how to put it to good use for those around us.
Bible Study—a good time and place to study the Word of God, and grow closer to one another in Christ.
Retreat Committee—a planning committee to make another retreat possible and well organized. |
